School Board Membership

    Saint Mary School Board Membership 2023-2024

    Mr. Michael Gerst – Chair     – Mr.Gerst, his wife Kyungsook Choi, and his sons Tyler and Eric have been members of OLOPP for over 8 years.  Prior to St. Mary School, his sons attended Assumption School in Atco and St. Stephen’s School in Pennsauken.  He is a graduate of St. Stephen’s in Pennsauken, NJ as well as Camden Catholic High School. Mr. Gerst holds a BS in Accounting from Rutgers University, an MS in Finance from Drexel University and a CPA designation from the state of NJ.  He has extensive experience in corporate accounting primarily working for Comcast in PA, DE and CA. Previously, he has volunteered as a Pennsauken school tutor, worked with the youth group at the Korean Catholic Mission in Cherry Hill, volunteer at Comcast Cares Day and has been an usher.Mrs. Debbie Gaidis – Debbie takes great pride in having attended Catholic schools her entire life. She attended St. Lawrence School in Lindenwold and is a 1984 graduate of Paul VI High School. Debbie completed her undergraduate studies in Elementary/Special Education at LaSalle University. She is a special education teacher at Williamstown Middle School and has been employed by Monroe Township Public School District since 1996. As a member of Our Lady of Peace Parish, a former CCD teacher, and the parent of three including two teenaged boys, Debbie is passionate not only about education, but the faith and morals that are instilled in our Catholic youth through our Church’s teachings. Debbie and her husband Pete have been married over 20 years and have three children. Their oldest son Peter is a graduate of St. Mary’s School and currently attends Paul VI High School. Brett is a graduate of St. Mary’s School and attends. Sarah Anne is their youngest and she currently attends St. Mary School.  Debbie is a former member of the Williamstown Rotary Dinner Club where she was awarded Rotarian of the Year for 1997-1998. Debbie and her husband Pete have also hosted five international exchange students from Belgium, Argentina, Ecuador, Brazil and most recently Italy.

    Mrs. Annemarie Norton – Annemarie and her husband, Joseph, live in Williamstown with their son, Hunter.  Annemarie has been a parishioner at Our Lady of Peace her entire life.  She is a graduate of St. Mary School and Paul VI High School.  Annemarie continued her education at University of Scranton and graduated in 1999 with a BS in Health Administration and a minor in Business .  She then went on to attend Mercer County College for Mortuary Science.  In 2001, Annemarie became a licensed funeral director and joined her family’s business.  She is the owner of Norton Funeral Home in Williamstown and enjoys being of service to our community.  Annemarie is a member of the Williamstown Sunrise Rotary Club and the Williamstown Chamber of Commerce.
